Menorah Lighting Tonight

Mayor Dunn will be lighting the Town Menorah on the green tonight at 6:45.

BOE and T.C Agendas: Monday and Tuesday

The Board of Education meets tonight at 7:00 pm in the Wolcott High School Resource Center. Its agenda can be found here.

They plan on having an expenditure report, reports on two programs called OREO and RIEB. A new policy regulation is also expected to come up for a vote. (unknown topic – if you know, let me know so I can fill this in)

The Town Council will meet tomorrow at 7:30 at Town Hall. Its Agenda is here. Highlights include:

– The Mayor plans on making appointments to various boards and commissions in January. If you are interested in serving your town on a board or commission or simply would like to know what opportunities might be available or what these boards and commissions do, give the Mayor’s office a call at (203) 879-8100.

Waterbury’s Board of Education will take up a proposal to allow religious holiday parties in all schools at the discretion of the teacher. Board member Paul D’Angelo is encouraging the public to attend.
